For more than 35 years, Robert M. Cohen has taken pride in his professionalism and aggressive client representation as a personal injury litigator having recovered millions and millions of dollars from individuals, corporations, and insurance companies. Robert M. Cohen has mediated hundreds of lawsuits and claims since the mid 1990’s, as a court appointed mediator, privately retained mediator, and chief mediation counsel; and he has tried over 100 bench trials, jury trials, and arbitrations to verdict. His search for justice is relentless.
Robert M. Cohen has been awarded Martindale and Hubbell’s highest AV rating by both Judicial and Peer Reviews and is recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction. He is a member of the State Bars of California and New York and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is an honors graduate of both UCLA and Loyola Law School. Additionally, Mr. Cohen acts as legal counsel and adviser to high net wealth individuals, as well as clergy and religious institutions in Southern California. In the past he has been a visiting Professor of Law at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and has served as Judge Pro-Tempore in the Beverly Hills Municipal Court. His hobbies include sports, food and wine and travel. Over the years he has been involved in minor league baseball ownership and active as a [rofessional wine writer.
